Favourite laundry & Dry Cleaning is a professional laundry outfit located within Ago Palace Way Okota and environs, that is charged with the rendering of laundry services ranging from washing, folding and ironing of clothes, dry cleaning of suits, stain removal, alteration, home service, express service and pickup/delivery services.

Favourite Laundry and Dry Cleaning was born out of the passion of its pioneer, who enjoyed washing and ironing clothings a whole lot, who after some careful thought decided to turn this passion of his into a venture of meeting people’s needs and in turn generating income, the initial idea was to generate a passive income or what you would call side hustle in a lay man’s term.

We began operations on the 17th of August 2018, with our first set of clients being Pastor Mr. & Mrs Uchechukwu Daniel, Mrs Caroline E. Amadi, Ms. Ezinne M. Amadi & Mr & Mrs Okoro, our customer base has since grown from then and currently stands at 20 dedicated customers.

At inception, our modus operandi was purely manual, washing was done with hands, ironing of customers fabrics was carried out on the floor, but we were unfazed by the challenges that it came with, because we knew where we were headed. Moreso, a good number of the clients were skeptical about trusting us with their delicate and expensive fabrics, because we were new in the business as at the time, but as time went on we earned their trust and as a result they confidently gave us more clothings to handle, having proved ourselves on the job.

Nonetheless, the ride hasn’t really been a smooth one, as we’ve damaged some client’s fabrics, disappointed some with respect to service delivery, which of course led to us losing some clients, but in all these happenings we didn’t relent, we went back to the drawing board, asked questions from those already in the business, did some research of our own and underwent some trainings, in order to forestall a reoccurrence.

In all these things we have come a long way as a service delivery company, and we don’t intend on doing less than we’ve done in the previous years, we now have washing machines, industrial steam and dry irons, a spotting table and diesel generator (in view) to enhance our service delivery.

Our plans for the year 2022, is to increase our customer base to 100 clients and also to become a force to reckon with in the industry through improving on our customer service delivery, pick-up and delivery time, acquisition of more effective and time saving washing machines, beefing up our workforce with experienced professionals, registering the business with CAC and opening of a company bank account.

As we progress, we’d keep researching on better and more effective ways of meeting our clients ever growing needs in order to maintain a competitive advantage in the market.
